OFFICE HOURS: Male character NEW

This images are the latest rigged version of the lead male character from OFFICE HOURS. As you may notice, the models face has changed a bit. The previous version's face was simply not practical to animate, whereas this one has edge loops which should enable expressive animation that is easier to pose.
Check out more news from OFFICE HOURS on this blog and stay tuned for updates and plenty of brand new images.

As promised, here are some pictures of pre-production 3d models created by co-director/animator Shane Sheils for Dwarfed Films latest film "Office Hours". This is a 3d turnaround of the lead character from the film, a fat lonely office worker.
This is the basic mesh before being textured, rigged and clothed but you should get the general idea of what the completed character will look like before being lit and rendered. The mesh has been kept to below 10,000 vertices (when subsurfed.)

Future plans

Here at Dwarfed Films we are already lining up some of our next projects.
One of these is a 3D animated film based on a script by Shane Sheils and Paula Sheils which was written a few years ago.Because of the complexities of certain scenes, only now do we feel it possible to make this picture exactly as it was intended to be.It features dark comedy, violence and a mannequin head!More details will be announced soon.

The next project is a very complicated idea that is probably too strange to explain correctly at this stage! This film may be set 30 billion(yes billion) years in the future but is still in its early stages of development.

Keep checking the site for updates.

To Shoot a Rurf: Latest Update

Work on "To Shoot a Rurf" continues.
Slow render times, especially with mirrored surfaces, are a real pain! Surprisingly the fluid effects render quicker than initially expected.
