Future plans
Here at Dwarfed Films we are already lining up some of our next projects.
One of these is a 3D animated film based on a script by Shane Sheils and Paula Sheils which was written a few years ago.Because of the complexities of certain scenes, only now do we feel it possible to make this picture exactly as it was intended to be.It features dark comedy, violence and a mannequin head!More details will be announced soon.
The next project is a very complicated idea that is probably too strange to explain correctly at this stage! This film may be set 30 billion(yes billion) years in the future but is still in its early stages of development.
Keep checking the site for updates.

Archive location stills
The picture on the left shows the director
Shane Sheils setting up a shot with his camera woman and 1st AD.
This picture shows the crew taking a break between filming on the alley way location. The alley way is situated just off O' Connell street, the main street in Dublin city, on a saturday morning.Despite this the film was framed in such a way as to make the place look completly deserted. Also the alley was 'home' to a homeless man who helpfully acted as security during the shooting period!
The Darkside
"The Darkside", directed by Shane Sheils and produced by Paula Sheils and Shane Sheils, was made in 2004.
Shot on digital video the film has a unique look and style.A horror/thriller with echoes of Invasion of the Bodysnatchers, The Darkside was shot over two days in inner city Dublin,Ireland.
The film was given an extensive feature in UK industry bible Showreel Magazine.
The film can be seen in the UK and Europe on dedicated film TV station Propeller .
"A classic tale of a free spirit hunted down by an organisation of mindless conformist drones" - Showreel Magazine
"Excellent" - Brit Shorts
The Darkside has shown at the following festivals amongst others: Portobello Film Festival 2005 (and special preview in 2004 Winter Festival), Belfast Film Festival, Brighton film Festival, Dresden Film Festival, Darklight Digital Film Festival...
